Credit bureaus, also called credit reporting agencies (CRAs), are companies that collect and maintain consumer credit information. They then resell it to other businesses in the form of a consumer’s credit report.
There are three major credit agencies in the United
States: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. There are other smaller, specialized
agencies as well. When creditors and lenders check your credit, they’ll very
likely do so with one of the major CRAs. These three agencies retain
information on more than 200 million Americans.

Placing a fraud alert works in much the same way, but
it only stays in effect for 90 days. An alert is always free, but you might
have to pay to place a credit freeze in some states. Dave will share briefly

Dr. Jennifer Rozenhart was born and raised in Canada and moved to San Jose in 1994 to receive her her Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West. She has been in private practice since 1997 and her practice has received the Best In Silicon Valley Award from the San Jose Mercury News for 5 years.
She loves taking care of women who are stressed out with headaches, neck pain, fatigue and irritability. She loves watching women make long lasting change in their health once they regain the energy to do so!
She is an active member of Business Women Of Silicon Valley and loves to help mentor other women business owners. When she’s not in the office she can be found with her family, at one of her son’s games or driving somewhere fun with her husband. Dr. Jennifer loves to cook ( and eat) great food and enjoys staying active.
After receiving her BSc from the University of Alberta, Canada, Dr. Stephanie Rozenhart Arbet moved to San Jose in 1998 to receive her Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-West. She loves taking care of patients that suffer from headaches, neck pain, and low back pain. Watching someone regain their health and get back to the activities they love to do is one of her greatest passions.
She is an active member of Business Women Of Silicon Valley and likes to connect with like-minded business women. When she’s not in the office she can be found with her dogs, travelling with her husband or catching up on the latest health information. Dr. Stephanie is adventuresome and loves to be active.

Donald Johnson from BAR will join us to discuss sections of the newly available Write it Right booklet. He will also touch on basic information regarding storage and mechanic liens, the written estimate law, and present some common errors and omissions that the Bureau observes in industry.

Before founding her speaking and coaching business in 2005, Christine Silver, SHRM-CP, practiced Human Resources management for twelve years. Over the past decade, she has trained and coached over two thousand leaders in leadership practices, communicating constructively, implementing performance management practices, and solving people issues. Christine has a Bachelors degree from San Jose State University, a certificate of Human Resources Management from University of California, Santa Cruz, and she completed coach training and leadership development with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) of San Rafael, California. Christine was trained by the Conflict Resolution Center of Santa Cruz and has facilitated positive resolution between individuals in organizations. Recently she completed Heroic Public Speaking graduate school with Michael Port. Christine is a solo stage performer who has written and performed seventeen unique monologues since 2009.
